Our Brazilian-based employees also participated in numerous workplace-related 
safety, health, wellbeing and behaviour training workshops and fortnightly safety 
meetings throughout 2025.
Training activities undertaken over the 
reporting year include:
	> Safety inductions for visitors going to JNP, 
BNP, and JIOP
	> OHS introductory training on the first day for 
employees and contractors
	> Quarterly training on safe work procedures 
(SWP) for the nine safety risks that have 
the highest historical rate of incidents and 
accidents
	> Quarterly first-aid training
	> Annual 4WD and defensive driving training 
for employees who drive on site. If an 
employee is involved in any accident or 
incident, they must undertake the training 
again in the next training session. 
	> Annual training for the emergency response 
team and simulations of emergency 
situations is undertaken at least quarterly 
at BNP and JNP and once a year at the Belo 
Horizonte office.
	> Annual week-long accident prevention 
training covering topics such as defensive 
driving, hand injury prevention, poisonous 
animals and drilling risks.
