INITIATIVES
During the reporting 
period, Centaurus 
implemented  
several initiatives 
to support local 
development and  
environmental 
stewardship:
	> 77% of project employees (excluding 
Jambreiro) recruited from local communities 
in the south-eastern region of the State of 
Pará
	> Approximately 70% exploration and 
development expenditure at the JNP 
and BNP awarded to local businesses 
through drilling contracts, engagement of 
consultants and services, and purchase of 
equipment and supplies
	> Support for road maintenance work through 
fuel donations to the local municipality
	> Continued implementation of the Empower 
Jaguar (Capacita Jaguar) Vocational Training 
Program in 2025, in partnership with the 
recognised Brazilian training agency (SENAI), 
enrolling 238 local residents across six free 
vocational courses, which were attended by 
residents from São Félix do Xingu, including 
Ladeira Vermelha and Minerasul villages, 
Tucumã and Ourilândia do Norte 
	>  Jaguar Partners Program (Parceiros do 
Jaguar) providing training to local suppliers 
to allow the potential provision of goods 
and services to the Jaguar Project
	> Recycling initiatives supporting charitable 
organisations
	> stablishment of school vegetable gardens 
to support education and food security for 
students in the local schools of the Minerasul 
and Ladeira Vermelha villages
	> Support for a women-led recycling 
cooperative RECICLASSU, in Igarapé-Açu 
(PA), to strengthen local circular economic 
activities
	> Donation of 300 native tree seedlings to the 
Ourilândia do Norte community as part of 
local environmental awareness activities
The Company continued the Empower Jaguar  
(Capacita Jaguar) Program in 2025, to support 
local employment through the construction 
phase at JNP.
